Homecoming 2008

Dear Classmates,
Homecoming this year is Saturday, November 1st. Once again we have made arrangements for the class to obtain rooms at a group rate of $109.00 plus tax per night for a single or double occupancy. Suites are available for $129.00 plus tax per night. The hotel has set aside a block of 25 rooms for us until SEPTEMBER 30th. If we book 25 rooms, we will receive a complimentary hospitality room. If not, it will cost us $175.00 per night if we still want the room. In the past, we used a suite as our hospitality room. Last year we were able to negotiate a free hospitality room even though we did not meet our requirement of 20 rooms. The hotel is under new management and has closed the "loophole" utilized last year, that allowed us to obtain the free hospitality room. We have really outgrown the suite. There were times last year when we had more than thirty people present at one time. Also it was a good place to have our meeting and to just hang out. Please consider the Clarion, and encourage others to do so.
We will be having our class meeting at the Clarion on Friday night at 7:00 P.M This will free up Saturday after the game for social activities, and or rest (for those of us who need it) before the Alumni Dance.
